Sarah, Rosie, Holly and Anna fundraising for Cancer Fund For Children in Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2025

We’re running 26.2 miles… for Katie, and for every child like her. This October, Sarah, her daughter Holly and her two nieces, Anna and Rosie, are taking on the Dublin City Marathon in memory of our brave little friend Katie Nugent, who lost her battle with leukaemia in 2010. Katie’s incredible spirit lives on through the Katie Nugent Fund, now part of Cancer Fund for Children, helping children and families through the toughest of times. The girls have youth on their side. Sarah… not so much. But what we do share is determination, love, and the will to make a difference. Please support us as we lace up for a cause that’s close to our hearts. Every step we take is for Katie—and for every child facing cancer today. Donate what you can. Share if you will. Cheer us on! #CancerFundForChildren

About Cancer Fund For Children

At Cancer Fund for Children, we understand the devastating impact a cancer diagnosis and its treatment have on the whole family, and that beyond the essential medical care, there is a family life that needs to be rebuilt. Our aim is to empower, connect and strengthen families, so they feel equipped to deal with whatever cancer throws at them. With our amazing supporters by our side, we will ensure that children and young people don’t have to face cancer alone.
