Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page. I am fundraising in the name of my mum, who has lived with MS for over 20 years. Mum is the most positive person I know, and has an incredible outlook on life. She has never let MS hold her back, and inspires me every day to keep going no matter the odds. Those of you who know my Mum may not even realise she has MS, and that about sums up her attitude. Although, we are so aware of how fortunate my mum is to be receiving treatment that’s working for her, we know that’s not the case for all. Fundraising for MS Ireland who provide information, resources, and community support, as well as research into the condition is so vital.
About MS Ireland
MS Ireland is the national organisation providing information, vital services and support to the MS community. We provide a wide range of specialised services and resources on a national, regional and local level. Services include; Regional Community Worker programmes for one-to-one support; physiotherapy; symptom management courses; newly diagnosed sessions and the MS Information Line, one of the first services used in the time leading up to or following a diagnosis. We also provide the only national respite and therapy centre for people with MS in Ireland.
