Aaron Morgan fundraising for Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association in Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2025
I’m still trying to find the right words to express how truly grateful I am. Running the marathon in honor of my father-in-law, Michael Keohane, was one of the most emotional experiences of my life. Michael faced motor neurone disease with incredible courage, strength, and grace — and it was his spirit that carried me through every mile. When I started this fundraiser for the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association , my only hope was to raise €1,000 to make a small difference. But thanks to your incredible generosity, kindness, and support, together we’ve raised over €10,000. Every single donation, message, and word of encouragement reminded me why I was running — for Michael, for every family living with MND, and for the hope that one day there will be better treatments and, ultimately, a cure. A very special thank you goes to my amazing wife, Sabrina. Her love, strength, and unwavering support kept me going through every early morning run, every long training session, and every doubt along the way. I couldn’t have done this without her by my side — she was my rock through it all. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who stood behind me — friends, family, colleagues, and even strangers who were moved to help. You turned this journey into something far greater than I ever imagined. Michael would be so proud. 💙
