Handbuild an Empty Bowl with Sculptor Martha Cashman

You will design, create and build a unique, contemporary bowl or platter that you can use daily in your kitchen, safe for food use or simply hung on the wall as your very own personal art piece or even frame it after. You will learn the fundamental techniques of hand building, sculpting and texturing a slab of clay. Martha will fire the work twice, once to bisc, I will then glaze it and fire again to a high fired glaze finish. The work will be ready in 3 weeks for collection or postage can be arranged. In this workshop Martha will address two of our Sustainability Goals 2: Zero Hunger and 16: Peace and Justice and Strong Institutions.
