Artistic Swimming Askeaton Wednesdays (July/Aug) Summer 2026

These sessions are designed especially for improvers and up, for swimmers who are already confident in the water or have previously taken part in courses.

Artistic Swimming is a sport that combines water acrobatics and music in graceful routines. The skills, such as sculling, eggbeater kick, breath control, balance and body awareness all cross over into the other aquatic disciplines, while also including skills from the likes of Gymnastics and Dance.

Participants requirements:

• Age 13 years old +
• Participants should be able to swim 25 meters on front and back
• Comfortable in deep water (treading water)
• Course is open to all genders

Session Times:
Wednesdays from July 15th from 19:00-20:00 for 6 weeks

Dates:  

July 15th, 22nd,29th,

Aug 5th, 12th, 19th 

Location: 

Askeaton Pool, Askeaton, Limerick.

What to Bring:

• A full water bottle

• Swimsuit

• Swim hat (New swim hat will be provided

• Nose plug (if you have one)

• Please arrive 15min ealier to allow time for changing
