Pulze Festival 5K & 10K Run – Event Description

The Pulse Festival Run is a community 5K and 10K event taking place on July 11th as part of the Pulze Festival programme. The run is designed to be inclusive and accessible for all fitness levels, with participants able to run, jog, or walk at their own pace.

The course is based on a flexible loop system, featuring an approximate 2.5K loop Participants can complete multiple laps to reach their chosen distance of 5K or 10K.

This event is focused on community participation, wellbeing, and supporting mental health awareness through movement and connection. Whether you’re taking on your first run or aiming for a personal best, the Pulse Festival Run offers a supportive and positive environment for all.

Updated 5K Route

The Pulze Festival 5K offers runners a scenic and energetic experience along the beautiful River Slaney in Enniscorthy. Participants will travel alongside the River Slaney and promenade before leaving the waterfront section and heading back toward town along the road and pathway route. This stretch gives runners the chance to settle into their pace, stay focused, and dig deep as they push through the course with support from spectators and fellow participants along the way.

The route then brings runners back onto the promenade area, where the atmosphere builds once again around the festival hub. Depending on the race distance, participants will continue onto additional laps of the riverside circuit before making their way toward the finish line.

Designed to combine atmosphere, scenery, and accessibility, the course creates a unique race experience that mixes the energy of a festival with the natural beauty of the River Slaney, making it enjoyable for competitive runners, casual participants, and first-time racers alike.
