2021 Irish Runner Virtual 5km Sponsored By Sports Travel International

Athletics Ireland is delighted to announce the launch of the 2021 Athletics Ireland Virtual Race Series sponsored by Sports Travel International.

This year's series will include the Virtual Irish Runner 5k, Virtual Irish Runner 5 Mile, and Virtual Irish Runner 10 Mile.

It will be FREE to enter each event, with the option to purchase a series t-shirt, medal, and Race Series snood should you choose to.

You can also enter the Virtual Great Ireland Run as part of these series, but please note the Virtual Great Ireland Run has it's own individual t-shirt.

Everyone entering these events must adhere to the latest social distancing and HSE guidelines in relation to Covid-19.

You will be required to submit your time via our online portal after completing your run. Each event will be run over the course of one weekend, so you'll have ample opportunity to get your time submitted.

Times may only be submitted once, and only during the dates listed below.

• Dates for Time Submission: Between 27th Feb - 28th Feb
• Where: Virtual - Please adhere to government guidelines.
• Single Entry: €0 (Option to purchase t-shirt, medal, and bandana available)

You can submit your race time between 27th - 28th February. Submitted race results will be published on the virtual leaderboard.
