Tobias Winright fundraising for Acquired Brain Injury Ireland
This year, I’m running the Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2026 — for something bigger than myself. 26.2 miles, or 42.16 kilometers. Every mile I run is a reminder of why I’m doing this — to make a real difference for those who need it most. I know, because on July 23, 2012, I fell and fractured my skull, with a life-threatening subarachnoid haemorrhage and subdural haematoma. Although I had been a long-distance runner since 1983, I was unable to run for a year after my acquired brain injury (also known as traumatic brain injury). Since then, I have run almost daily, and I wish to run the Irish Life Dublin Marathon before it's too late. Your support — whether it’s a donation, a share, or simply cheering me on — means more than words can say. Together, we can take every step a little further. Every mile matters. Every gesture helps. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
