As many of you know, my beautiful wife Ciara passed away earlier this year after a brave battle with a rare salivary gland cancer. In her final months, Blackrock Hospice became our sanctuary. The team there were simply incredible—not only for Ciara, but for me, our two children, and wider family. Their compassion, care, and kindness carried us through the most difficult time of our lives. To honour Ciara’s memory and to give back to those who gave us so much, I’ll be running the Dublin City Marathon this October, with all proceeds going directly to Our Lady’s Hospice & Care Services, who operate Blackrock Hospice. We’ve set a fundraising goal of €3,000, but with your support, I’m hopeful we can go even further.
