Lucy Mcmahon fundraising for Acquired Brain Injury Ireland

Hi, my name is Lucy McMahon and I’m running the Dublin City Marathon this year for Acquired Brain Injury Ireland, a charity that’s really close to my family. In 2009, my dad had a catastrophic stroke and it completely changed our lives. It had a huge impact on him and all of us as a family. What makes this even more special is that my dad actually went on to run the Dublin Marathon himself in 2013 and in 2023 for the same charity, which shows the kind of strength and recovery that’s possible with the right support. I know from personal experience how helpful these charities can be for families. Acquired Brain Injury Ireland does amazing work helping people and families navigate life after brain injury and rebuild their lives. So now it’s my turn to take on the challenge (which will definitely be a tough one 😅) and try to raise some money for them. If you can donate, even a small amount, I’d really appreciate it. And if not, even sharing this would mean a lot. Thanks so much for the support ❤️
