This year, I’m running the Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2026 — in aid of Children in Hospital Ireland. In short, I’ve chosen to support this organisation after having worked in paediatrics as part of my GP training and seen first-hand the profound and often devastating impact that a new diagnosis can have on both children and their families. Repeated and prolonged admissions that follow require huge sacrifices on the families part, all the while balancing the anxiety and uncertainty of their children’s health. Please help Children in Hospital Ireland continue their incredible work in supporting affected families during their most vulnerable and challenging days.
