Jitendra Upadhyay fundraising for Bone Marrow for Leukaemia Trust C.L.G
This year, I’m running the Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2026 — for something bigger than myself. After completing the Belfast Marathon this past May, I wanted my next 26.2 miles to be about turning effort into impact. I am aiming to raise €1,500 for the Bone Marrow for Leukaemia Trust (BMLT). While I don't have a personal connection to blood cancer, I believe deeply in supporting organizations that make a real difference for patients and families in Ireland. BMLT is a fantastic charity that supports the National Adult Stem Cell Transplant Centre at St. James's Hospital. Among many vital services, they provide free "home away from home" apartments in Dublin for families traveling from outside the city for intensive treatments, fund cutting-edge medical equipment, and offer direct patient aid. Every mile I run is a reminder of why I’m doing this — to help ease the burden for those who need it most. Your support — whether it’s a donation, a share on social media, or simply cheering me on — means more than words can say. If you aren't in a position to donate, simply sharing this link with others or telling a friend makes a massive difference. You can follow my daily training journey and cheer me on directly on Strava: https://strava.app.link/PrqI6Kp2p4b Together, we can take every step a little further. Every mile matters. Every gesture helps. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. — Jitendra
