Jennifer Mannering fundraising for Aoibheanns Pink Tie in Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2025
Hi I am doing the Dublin City Marathon on the 26th October for an amazing charity. Thank you for your kind support. Aoibheanns Pink Tie is a fantastic charity & helps so many families in hard times including my sister Roisin. Please see her story below. Roisin’s families world was turned upside down when her young son Tommy was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in 2021. “He ended up being in hospital for almost 8 months, starting with eight weeks in ICU. It was such a hard road.” recalls Róisín. Thanks to supporters like you Tommy's family received the support they needed, Tommy is now in remission and in Róisin's words "He’s doing fantastic. He has lots of energy.
About Aoibheanns Pink Tie
Aoibheann's Pink Tie National Children's Cancer Charity was founded in 2010 by Mick Rochford and Jimmy Norman following the death of Jimmy's daughter Aoibheann. The charity provides practical and financial support to families of children going through treatment for childhood cancer.
