Next Sunday, March 30th, I’ll be running the Dublin North Half Marathon alongside two good friends and running buddies, Sean McKinley and Peter Murtagh. We’re taking on the challenge to raise funds for Aoibheann’s Pink Tie, a wonderful children’s cancer support charity. We first got to know Aoibheann’s Pink Tie through the Dublin Masters, where the daughter of a close friend received their support during her treatment. We got to hear her brave journey in her own words at a recent charity ball. More recently, my godson Conor was diagnosed with the same kidney cancer and received fantastic support from a sister charity in the UK.
