I'm running the Dublin Marathon to raise awareness and funds for the Irish Kidney Association (IKA)—a cause incredibly close to my heart (and kidney!). In 2019, I donated a kidney to a complete stranger. It was one of the most rewarding and life-changing experiences I've ever had, reinforcing just how crucial organ donation is for so many families. Now, as I lace up my shoes for the Dublin Marathon—my first full marathon since the kidney donation—I want to push my limits again and inspire others to support this vital cause. I've previously completed the Vienna Marathon in 2011 and the Rome Marathon in 2016. However, this Dublin Marathon feels particularly meaningful. After four amazing years living in Dublin, it's home—and the perfect place to make a difference. As a husband and proud father of two, I understand deeply the value of health, community, and giving back. I'm asking for your support to raise funds and awareness for the thousands waiting for a kidney transplant. Your generosity helps the Irish Kidney Association support patients, promote organ donation, and give hope to families in need. Please donate what you can and help spread the word! Every step counts, every euro matters. Thank you for your support!
