This year, I’m running the Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2026 — for something bigger than myself. 26.2 miles. That’s the distance between comfort and courage, between an ordinary day and a moment that could truly change lives. Every mile I run is a reminder of why I’m doing this — to make a real difference for those who need it most. It’s not just about crossing a finish line; it’s about showing up, pushing through, and turning effort into impact. Your support — whether it’s a donation, a share, or simply cheering me on — means more than words can say. Together, we can take every step a little further. Every mile matters. Every gesture helps. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

About ARFID Advocacy Ireland

ARFID Advocacy Ireland is a start-up charity raising awareness, building understanding, and supporting families affected by Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID). ARFID is a newly recognised eating disorder increasingly seen among children, adolescents, and adults in Ireland. Families often face long waits for assessment and treatment, limited professional understanding, and a lack of trusted support. Many describe feeling isolated, overwhelmed, and unheard. At the same time, professionals such as teachers, GPs, and HSE staff are meeting more children with ARFID but often lack clear, evidence-based guidance. This leaves families struggling and young people without the care they need. We’re working to change that - connecting families, sharing reliable information, and building national understanding of ARFID. Help us ensure no one in Ireland faces ARFID alone.
