Colm Horkan Memorial Virtual Golf Classic

Charlestown Sarsfields GAA has launched the inaugural Colm Horkan Memorial Virtual Golf Classic, in association with B-Pod (www.b-pods.com) which invites golfers from anywhere in the world to participate in the event by playing at your local golf course or any golf course between September 1st and October 17th 2021. The top 25 teams in the event will qualify for an 18 hole final to be played at the prestigious K Club in 2022 and compete for the inaugural Colm Horkan Memorial Trophy as well as a fantastic range of prizes, including an incredible first prize of a trip for 4 people to Portugal! 

Every team who enters the Golf Classic will receive a special Colm Horkan Memorial Golf Classic momento for all four players.

What’s involved?

This is a four-person team event.

1. Register your team below and pay the registration fee of €200 per team (including booking fee). All proceeds go to the Colm Horkan Memorial Pitch & Community Walkways Project
2. Book a tee time at your club of choice for the period of the virtual Golf Classic which is September 1st to October 17th
3. Submit your scores on the website no later than midnight on the 17th October 2021 for the chance to qualify for the final to be played in 2022 at the award winning K Club Golf Course, for the chance to win one of a host of great prizes. Instructions on how to submit your scorecard will be emailed to all registered teams from 1st September onwards.

Prizes

The teams who qualify to take part in the final will compete for the inaugural Colm Horkan Memorial Trophy and a chance to win the top prizes which are

• Trip to Portugal (Faro) for 4 people including flights, 3 nights accommodation and a round of golf at an exclusive Golf course in Vilamoura

• Complimentary Four ball with lunch at the prestigious Adare Manor

• Complimentary Four ball on the award winning Carne Golf Links course with lunch in the Broadhaven Bay Hotel
