5km on quiet roads around Oughterard. Only 30 mins drive from Galway, a great route with lots of support and a few treats at the finish!
Join us on Wednesday 22nd July 2026 for the Mick Molloy 5K Road Race in Oughterard, Co. Galway. This chip-timed event, hosted by Corrib AC & Oughterard GAA, takes runners along a scenic rural route through the beautiful Connemara countryside. With professional timing, refreshments, parking and a welcoming community atmosphere, the race is suitable for club runners chasing PB's and to those dipping their toe into their first road race. Race start: 7:30pm.
