Winter Long Throws Workshop. This is for long throws athletes (Discus/Hammer/Javelin) who will compete in 2027.
The Winter Long Throws Workshop - October 2026 is for current U13 to U19 athletes who intend competing in Discus, Hammer, and Javelin in 2027. Development & Performance Athletes are welcome. Please register for your event which will give you access to the workshop. The workshop is open to throwers and their coaches from all Regions. Coaches do NOT pay to attend.
Workshop details (Dates, Location, Content) are outlined below. Any changes / updates will be sent to the email provided before the day.
Workshop 1- Saturday, October 3rd, Templemore AC (11am to 1pm)
Content - S&C, Season Planning, Sample Drills/Skills, etc.
Athletes to bring a medicine ball, their own throwing implement, and throws shoes - if they have them.
Specific details and times will be emailed to registered athletes after registration closes on Friday, October 2nd. .
