Athletics Ireland coaching and development team are delighted to be hosting our Coach Network Conference 2026 on the 3rd & 4th of October. 

Athletics Ireland are delighted to announce that professional international track & field coach Marco Airale will be presenting at our Coach Network Conference in October. Marco leads a professional sprint group in Italy with numerous Olympians including Olympic finalist Amy Hunt, who won silver at the 2025 Tokyo World Championships. Having a background in physiotherapy and osteopathy, Marco has integrated this into his approach to speed, resilience and long-term athlete development.

We look forward to welcoming Marco over to Ireland and hope that you can join us for what promises to be a high-quality weekend of athletics coaching. Full details and registration information will be released shortly.

The two day event will feature presentations, practicals, event group discussions and opportunities to interact and engage with peer coaches.

This conference is designed to help equip club coaches with skills and knowledge for athletic development with a focus on speed and athletic performance.
