Easter Camps

These camps aim to give participants a memorable paddling experience in a fun and safe environment whilst giving a good foundation in paddlesport. The camps will give participants the opportunity to engage in the Canoeing Ireland Good 2 Go Award, which has a strong emphasis on Water Confidence & Safety, as well as developing a good relationship between participants and the Environment in a fun and Adventurous Learning style in which their paddle sport experience will take place!.

Week 1: Monday through to Thursday.

Week 2: Tuesday through to Friday

The camp is open to young people between the ages of 10 and 16 years of age and the camp is limited to a maximum of 12 places

Details

Camp will run in the mornings from 10.00 until 12.30

Students will be supplied with all technical equipment needed such as a buoyancy aid or personal flotation device (PFD), helmet and windproof jacket. However as Kayaking is a water sport and each participant is advised to bring with them the following personal gear:

Towel
Swimwear
Thermal top or t-shirt
Suitable footwear – bootees or an old pair of runners
The Centre can supply wetsuits but we would recommend that participants bring their own if they have one.
