64th Liffey Descent master

This iconic race consists of 10 weirs and one portage along the stunning River Liffey. The 30-km course begins at the famous K-Club in County Kildare and finishes close to Dublin City at the Garda Boat Club in Islandbridge.

A valid membership is required for entry. If you are not a member, a day licence can be purchased at the end of this booking process.

All paddlers must be of the correct skill level to participate in this race.

It's advised that you are at the Level 3 standard or signed off by a qualified Level 3 instructor.

All boats must have internal flotation/buoyancy

K  = Kayak

Open = open boats ie Canadian Canoes

A morning bus will go to the Garda boat club at 8.45 am on Saturday morning.

Bib collection will occur at the Garda Boat Club from 5 pm to 8 pm on Friday, the 17th. You must bring your PFD/buoyancy aid for the timing chip to be fitted.

The race starts in the K club at 11 am

The minimum age for the junior section is 16 years.
