Run with Catherina on the streets of Cavan is back for 2023, celebrating the 25th anniversary of Catherina McKiernan’s fabulous win of the London Marathon ’98.

Info on our charity partner; The Cavan/Monaghan Palliative Care Fund was first set up in September 1993. Our objective is to provide support through consultation with the Specialist Palliative Care Team for all its patients and their families.  This support takes many forms, including the purchase of specialised equipment, night nursing and patient transport, to name but a few. Basically, the Fund provides any need that the Specialist Palliative Care Team identifies to us as they work with their patients throughout counties Cavan and Monaghan. We are only able to do this through the support we receive from the communities in which we live and work.

We work in close contact with the Specialist Palliative Care Team and at all times we strive to work in a non bureaucratic way to ensure speed and efficiency in all we do to support the Team.
