DMK Orwell 200 | 2022

A beginner friendly route aimed at first-time Audaxers and PBP hopefuls. Navigation is straightforward with total climbing of less than 1,000m with the lumpier bits towards the end.

The route leaves Dublin heading in an anti-clockwise direction for Leixlip and on to Kilbeggan before turning south and looping back toward Dublin via Monasterevin and the Curragh. There are ample food options in the main towns and villages along the route.

The event departs from Joe Daly Cycles in Dundrum at 07:00 sharp with sign-on commencing from 06:30.

Closing Date for entries: 11th March 2022.

The time limit for completing the event is 13h 30m.

Front and rear lights are mandatory and hi-viz clothing is highly recommended.

There will be no parking available at Joe Daly's.

In the week leading up to the event the organisers will send an information email to all participants incorporating some parking information.

Your brevet card and route sheet will be handed out on the day.

As with all audax events riders are expected to be self-sufficient.

In light of ongoing concerns about Coronavirus and with a view to minimising the congregation of riders, the event will not be serving refreshments.
