Balbriggan Beach Festival - Sea Swimming Tasters

Fancy a dip but not sure where to start?

Swim Ireland and Fingal Sports Partnership are inviting you to join us for an intro to Sea Swimming Session during the Balbriggan Beach Festival

The sessions will run on Balbriggan Beach at various times throughout the day, weather permitting. Running on the 18th of August, join us for a splash.

Groups for Teens, Kids and Adults

This is an introductory programme, guided by a qualified Open Water Swimming Coach in the sea for 30 minutes. We will provide a lifeguard for the dip to ensure safety and provide tips and advice too.

Further Information

• This event is open to those of all abilities, ages 6+ !
• Bring a swimsuit and towel with you for the session.
• Swim hat provided.
• Please wear or bring appropriate swim wear e.g. secure bikinis, swim suits and or rashvests to allow for movement!
• Goggles not required but recommended.
• Bring a water bottle with you to stay hydrated, a towel / swim poncho and warm clothes for after your session!
