Greystones openwater Swim Event 2025

Held at the South Beach Greystones

Greystones Open Water Event : 

Registration  Friday evening 7 pm to 8.30 pm at South  Beach Car Park 

Saturday morning 8 am to 9am 

Safety Brief 9.15 am for 1500 m

Safety Brief for 750 m at 10.45

Swim Ireland  will have two races a 1500 m and a 750 catering for all level of swimmer and people interested in the water and the coast. We will also host a special olympics 1500 m swim. 

Each participant will receive, a Swim Fest silicone swim hat, and a Swim Ireland Openwater Series T Shirt sponsored by Aqualine,  Swim Ireland finisher medal on the day.  

1,500m Competitive Event 9.15 am 

Special Olympics Swim 10.00 am 

750 m Participation Event 11.00 am 

This is a competitive and participation event

Before You Book

• You must be able to swim the distance of the event that you have registered for. This Swim is for ages 16 and over only.
• Due to the nature of Open Water Events, timings on event day are subject to change.
• Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event (except when in the water).
• Tow floats are recommended.
• Open to both wetsuits and non-wetsuit participants.
• Please indicate on the registration form which category you will be in (Wetsuit OR Non -Wetsuit)
