Four races across the beautiful Beara peninsula
The Beara A.C. Autumn 5-Mile Series is a unique running experience that spans the breathtaking Beara Peninsula in West Cork through September, October and into November. Taking place across four distinct locations — Glengarriff, Allihies, Bere Island and Eyeries — the series kicks off on Saturday, 5th September in Glengarriff at 4:30pm.
Each race is three weeks apart, offers runners the chance to explore some of the hidden gems of the southwest. From the lush surounds of Glengarriff National Park, the spectacular charms of Allihies — the furthest parish from Dublin — to the internationally renowned parkrun destination of Bere Island and concluding in the award-winning village of Eyeries. This series is a celebration of community and our athletic club, Beara A.C. and an excellent way to round off your year of running.
