Join us for a night of nostalgia as we look back at some of our favourite memories from the past 40 years.
Ireland West Airport, in partnership with Mid West Radio, is delighted to host a very special night of celebration to mark the 40th Anniversary of the official opening of the airport.
Join us at the airport on Thursday, 28th May, from 9 pm to 11 pm as we look back at some great memories over the past 40 years. It promises to be a spectacular night of music, memories, and celebration, featuring Michael English, Gerry Carney, and many more special guests – live in the airport terminal. This will be a night of nostalgia as we relive the stories and history of the airport over the past 40 years and the fascinating story about how the airport was built in the early 1980's, right up to the current day, where the airport became the fastest growing airport in the country in 2025 with over 946,000 passengers using the airport last year.
Join us for what promises to be an unforgettable celebration with comperes Tommy Marren and Gerry Glennon.
All proceeds from ticket sales will go to our six charity partners for 2026, which are Cancer Care West, Family Centre Castlebar, Liver Ireland Support Network, Mayo Mental Health Association, Pancreatic Cancer Ireland, and Sunflower Children’s Hospice
Please note that tickets are limited due to venue capacity, and early booking is advised. Once all tickets are sold, no further tickets will be available, and entry on the night without a ticket will not be permitted.
Maximum two tickets per person.
