Inclusive Hoops Basketball Camp (Maynooth) 13-17 July
Five day basketball camp for children aged 12-17 years with additional needs who want to learn the game of basketball.
Inclusive Hoops is a basketball programme that introduces children with additional needs to the skills of basketball and develops fundamental movement skills.
The camp is located in the Halla Spóirt, Gaelcholaiste Mhagh Nuad, Moyglare Road, Maynooth. W23 WC66
The camp is from 2-4.15pm over five days.
Children will be allocated to small groups depending on age and ability. There is a ratio of 1 coach per 3 children.
The fee is €70 per child (plus admin fee), with a discount of €5 for 2nd child or more. A camp t-shirt will be provided. The cost of the camp is subsidised by grants and fundraising.
The camp director is Christian Udeze, a club coach and national league referee. He will have a team of experienced coaches, all with Basketball Ireland qualifications and Garda vetting.
The camp is hosted in conjunction with North Kildare Eagles Basketball Club.
