Big Hoops Basketball Camp (Maynooth) 10-14 August

Big Hoops basketball camp is a programme that supports players too become better basketball players. The goal is to develop and improve individual skills, have fun, and play the game at a higher level. Drills, small-sided games and group activities are included in the camp.

The camp is from 9.30am to 3.30pm over five days. Child should be born between 2008 and 2014.

The cost of the camp is €105 (plus admin fee) if booked before 15th May. After that date, the fee is €110. There is a discount of €5 for a second or more child. A camp t-shirt can be purchased for an additional €10.

Players are allocated to small groups according to age, gender & ability. There is an option of a girls-only group in the camp. 

The venue is the sports hall in Maynooth Education Campus, Mariavilla, Maynooth W23 X6X8. it has 7 courts, indoors & outdoors.

The camp director is Ronan Hobbs, a schools and national league coach. The coaching staff will include experienced male and female coaches, all with Basketball Ireland qualifications and Garda vetting. 

The camp is hosted in conjunction with North Kildare Eagles Basketball Club.
