Newbridge AC 5K & 10K 2026

Free Race T-shirt included with the first 200 entries

A few notes below to be aware of ahead of the race day.

1 – Race HQ is St. Conleth’s and St Marys School, Naas Road, Newbridge. (W12 VN26) and the start line is approximately 200m from Race HQ.

2-Online Registration will remain open until 60 mins before race start time.

3-The 1km dash will start at 9:45am followed by the 5k at 10am and the 10K at 10.10am. The start lines the all races are in Connel Drive, the 10k start is 250m behind the 5K start

4 - Parking is available at St. Conleth’s and Marys schools beside the finish area. We will have marshals on hand to direct you. We would ask local runners not to drive where possible and where possible runners would also consider car-pooling. If the car parks fill up there will be paid parking available closer to Newbridge town centre.

5 - Race number and T-shirt collection on Saturday evening 18th April from 5-7 pm at Newbridge Athletic clubhouse for anyone wishing to collect their numbers/t-shirts

6– Please allow time to get to the race start (Approx. 200m from Race HQ.).

7 - The first 200 registered are eligible for t-shirts, and the size will be as per your selection at purchase. Please don't ask for a t-shirt if you didn't get in the first 200, we don't have spares and we have none for sale.

8 - Please attend the pre-race briefing and obey the marshals to ensure a safe fun event for all.

9 –Refreshments and Presentation will take place after the race at the school.

10- The Kildare County Championships will be run in conjunction with this race and entries for this must be submitted through by club secretaries. Entrants for the county championships may also enter the open race if they wish to be eligible for race t-shirts or for the cash prizes.
