THE 2022 EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT DUE TO UNPRECEDENTED DEMAND

The Griffith Avenue Mile is a one mile road race on Marino's Griffith Avenue which is being held on Sunday September 18th 2022. The last event was run on September 22nd, 2019 for the first time in 36 years. You can find a quick summary of the 2019 event here. 

This year there will be two separate races:

1. A Chip Timed race at 3pm
2. A Family fun run/walk race, directly after the Chip Timed race at approximately 3:15pm

Times are subject to change and will be communicated prior to the event.

Please note which race you are entering when completing your registration as Family fun run/walk entries are not permitted to take part in the Chip Timed Race

Wheelchair participants are welcome to take part in the Family fun run/walk race by purchasing the appropriate ticket.

There will also be a competitive wheelchair race if there are enough competitors interested, please contact us to express interest before purchasing a ticket. Please send all inquiries about the competitive wheelchair race directly to info@griffithavenuemile.ie

We have a range of ticket types now available to support wide participation. Tickets are limited, are offered at discounted early bird pricing and will very likely sell out so secure yours today.

• Chip Timed Race Entry: This race will start at 3pm and all athletes will be chip timed. 
• Family fun run/walk - Family Entry – This race will follow the chip timed race. This entry is for 2 adults and 2 children . Please choose the appropriate ticket option for your family. Family entries are not chip timed. Child must be aged 16 or under on the day.
• Family fun run/walk – Child Entry – Choose this entry for individual or extra child tickets. Child entries are not chip timed. Child must be aged 16 or under on the day.
• Family fun run/walk - Adult Entry – This is for one adult in the family fun run or walk and will not be chip timed.  If you require a chip timed entry please use the ‘Chip Timed Race’ option
