Swim Ireland Portmarnock Swim Fest 2024

Held at Portmarnock Beach Co Dublin 

Swim Ireland Portmarnock Swim Festival: 

Join us for our first Portmarnock Swim Festival. The event is a joint venture with Swim Ireland and Fingal County Council under the banner of Active Cities Dublin. We have a 3000m and 1500m competitive event and a 750m.

We will also host childrens event. 

They will have the option of swimming between 50m and 250m. 

There will be a a category for both Wetsuit and Skin Swimmers.  It will cater for  all level of swimmer and people interested in the water and the coast. 

Each participant will receive a Swim Ireland Swim Series T-shirt sponsored by Aqualine. Swim Ireland  silicone swim hat, and Swim Ireland finisher medal on the day. 

REGISTRATION 8:30 until 10:30

Adults Events starting from 10:30

3000m Competitive Event

1,500m Competitive Event

750m Adult Participation Event

Childrens Event 

50 m to 250 m depending on ability.

Children must be 9+

This is a competitive and participation event

Before You Book

• You must be able to swim the distance of the event that you have registered for. This Swim is for ages 16 and over only.
• Due to the nature of Open Water Events, timings on event day are subject to change.
• Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the event (except when in the water).
• Tow floats are recommended.
• Open to both wetsuits and non-wetsuit participants.
• Please indicate on the registration form which category you will be in (Wetsuit OR Non -Wetsuit)
