Summer Camps – Good 2 Go
These camps aim to give participants a memorable paddling experience in a fun and safe environment whilst giving a good foundation in paddlesport. The camps will give participants the opportunity to engage in the Canoeing Ireland Good 2 Go Award, which has a strong emphasis on Water Confidence & Safety, as well as developing a good relationship between participants and the Environment in a fun and Adventurous Learning style in which their paddle sport experience will take place!
Camps will be over five days from Monday through to Friday*. They are open to young people between the ages of 10 and 16 years of age and each camp is limited to a maximum of 12 places.
*Week 7 will be four day camp

Camps will run in the mornings from 10.00 until 12.30.
Students will be supplied with all technical equipment needed such as a buoyancy aid or personal flotation device (PFD), helmet and cagoule or windproof jacket however as Kayaking is a wet sport there is a real possibility course participants will get wet during the sessions so each participant is advised to bring with them the following personal gear:
The Centre can supply wetsuits but in order to improve hygiene for all we would recommend that participants bring their own if they have one.
