Hang Out with High Jumpers

It's a hard act for anyone to come on after Stefan Holm & Javier Sotomayor so we are extremely grateful that our ladies have risen to the challenge and will grace our screens this coming Saturday the 27th of February at 6pm. Deirdre Ryan who set the current national record of 1.95m for the women's high jump in 2011 at the World Championships in Daegu will be joining us on Saturday.  We are really looking forward to Deirdre sharing her experience with us and all that she has learnt from some of the top High Jump coaches in Europe. We are also very grateful that Janet Boyle, who jumped 1.92m at the Seoul Olympics in '88, will also be joining us. She will be joined by her high jumping buddies from the North,  the legendary Irish schools long standing high jump record holder Ursula Fay ( 1982, 1.83m Junior Girls, 1983, 1.81m Inter Girls,  1985, 1.80m Senior Girls) and former 1.82m high jumper and current coach Wendy Phillips. 

We are asking all high jumpers both past and present to join this call so that we can learn from each other and begin to raise the bar. If you have any questions just let me know.
