More than a century ago, runners took part in "Go As You Please" races between Gorey and Courtown. This December, Gorey Athletics Club will continue the town's proud running tradition with our first-ever Gorey AC 5K Santa Dash!
Taking place at 9:00 am on Sunday, 6 December 2026, the event will start and finish at Gorey Civic Centre. Participants can expect a welcoming festive atmosphere, a professionally timed 5K, strong community support and a memorable morning in the heart of Gorey.
Whether you are chasing a personal best, running with family and friends, or simply joining in the Christmas fun, we look forward to welcoming you. Festive dress is strongly encouraged.
