CYCLING IRELAND ADP JUNIOR RIDER TRAINING DAY
Meeting point - Sport Ireland Institute on Wednesday 23rd February between 09:15 and 16:00.
The format for the day is follows:
09:15 Arrive and prepare for a 100km training ride. This will be supported by a lead car, motorcycle marshal, broom wagon and CI National Junior Coach Martin O'Loughlin will be cycling.
10:00 Depart on bikes.
13:15 Return to SII. Showers. To keep costs down, we are asking everyone to bring your own lunches. Tea and coffee available???
14:00 Eoin Rheinisch, former Olympian and Sports Ireland Institute's Head of Performance Life Skills will give a presentation.
15:30 Martin O'Loughlin will finish the day with information on the Cycling Ireland Draft Junior Road and Track programmes and a Q & A.
16.00 Finish.
This is not a compulsory event. We are very conscious that while it coincides with the second level midterm break in the Republic, Northern riders and those in third level may have school/college. But, it will give an opportunity for us to meet as a group.
All the best,
Martin
