Swim Ireland Dun Laoghaire Harbour Race (4th August 2024)
Entries are now open for the 2024 Swim Ireland Dun Laoghaire Harbour Race taking place on Sunday the 4th of August 2024. Race the iconic Harbour of Dun Laoghaire with the stunning back drop of the East piers to one side and seaside town on the other. It is bound to be a great day.
In continuing with the tradition and format of the race, swimmers will be allocated handicaps for the race.
Timings for the Day:
Children’s Swim (Ages 9 to 13) - 11.30am
Ladies Swim (Ages 14+) - 12.00 noon
Registration (Ladies and Children) - 10am am to 11 am
Men’s Swim (Ages 14+) - 1.30 pm
Registration (Men’s) – 11am to 12noon

*Can win prizes on offer for this category. Number of prizes will be dependent on number of entries, however there will be a minimum of top 3 prizes. Cannot win the overall race or be eligible for prizes in category 1.
Eligibility
To be eligible to take part in the 2024 Swim Ireland Dun Laoghaire Harbour Race, swimmers must be Swim Ireland members and have swum a race of 1500 metres or more in open water since the 1st January 2023.
To be eligible for prizes in category 1, participants must have raced in a minimum of 4 races run under the auspices of Swim Ireland (These include Open Water events run by Swim Ireland, Swim Ireland clubs or events on the Leinster Open Sea Calendar during 2023 and 2024.
Swim Ireland will be contacting clubs to verify eligibility criteria.
