Kildare-Sensory Learn to Swim- Athy- March 2026

Sensory learn to swim programme at K Leisure, Athy will run for children with sensory needs for 6 weeks. Children with sensory needs and their parents/guardians/carers are welcome to join this full sensory swim programme with a teacher when the pool is closed ( regardless of whether your child has a formal diagnosis, all are welcome). Starting on Saturday 28th of March for 6 weeks at 5 to 6pm. Dates below. This programme is for children aged 5y to 12y and their parents/guardians/carers. 

These sessions in the water allows children with additional needs and one parent/guardian/carer time to have fun together and to engage children in the core aquatic skills. Children will learn the core aquatic skills of floating, rotating, streamline, kicking and movement through play while building confidence in the water.  Please note that during this time, the pool will be closed to the general public. 

The ticket includes (x1) child and (x1) parent/guardian entry to the pool. *MANDATORY FOR PARENT/GUARDIAN/CARER TO ACCOMPANY CHILD IN THE WATER*
