Bog Run 2024

The Bog Run is an untimed run for fun and open to people of all fitness levels. There are 5k and 10k options where you will take on the lough, crawl through bushes, clamber over fallen trees, and, of course, get extremely muddy!

The Senior Bog Run 5k & 10k are open to those aged 12+ (12–17-year-olds must be accompanied by an adult). The family friendly Junior Bog Run 5k is open to 8–14-year-olds (with accompanying adult, max 2 children per adult).

We kindly ask that you raise sponsorship to join us, but please know that everyone is welcome at the start line on event day no matter what you have raised. Cancer Fund for Children organise amazing events like the Bog Run so we can raise vital funds in support of children diagnosed with cancer across the island of Ireland. We simply could be there for them without you.

Simply try your best and whatever you raise will be greatly appreciated! Every euro and pound raised can make an incredible difference. Thank you for your support in taking on the Bog.
