Stone Mad Half Marathon 2024

Blarney is the home to the world famous “Blarney Stone” and is the location for the “Stone Mad Half Marathon"
The race kicks off at 9:30 a.m. on Castle Close Road (T23 KP73), with the initial stretch taking participants through the heart of Blarney Village, allowing runners to quickly find their pace. After leaving the village centre, the route continues onto Waterloo Road for an out-and-back section leading to Rathduff Cross, following the scenic path of the River Martin. Upon returning to Blarney Village, runners will take a left turn toward the secondary school before finishing at Blarney GAA Clubhouse. Chip timing will be in place, with prizes awarded for overall winners and across various age categories.
Before proceeding please, note that you are entering the 2024 Stone Mad Half Marathon (21.1km/13.1 miles). The minimum age on race day is 18. Entrants should be capable of completing a half marathon in under 3 hours. This is to ensure full safety measures will be effective.
3 hour Limit - People entering the race will need to know that they are capable of completing the race in under 3 hours
