In September, I will doing the Mizen to Malin - Cycle of Hope. As a novice cyclist, and taking part on my own this 750km journey over 6 days will be my biggest physical & mental challenge to date! 😬 After losing my brother Thomas to suicide in 2021, I am deeply passionate about raising awareness on suicide prevention, encouraging supportive conversations and help-seeking behaviour to reduce stigma and give hope to those who are struggling. This challenge is also a tribute to our shared love of sports and challenges, and I know Thomas will be with me every step of the way. ā¤ I will be raising money for the charity Cycle against Suicide, which is dedicated to suicide prevention across communities through tangible programs in schools, communities, and workplaces. . Your support, in any form, would mean the world to me. Your donation will truly make a difference.

About Cycle Against Suicide

Cycle Against Suicide is an awareness charity (CHY 20687) that makes a valuable contribution to the public education of mental health by changing the narrative surrounding suicide. When an individual is vulnerable enough to consider taking their own life, silence is read as indifference. With hundreds of people dying by suicide in Ireland each year and research indicating that thousands more contemplate it, we all have a role to play to collectively address the challenges that suicide presents. In a bid to save more lives, Cycle Against Suicide through its programmes, sets out to change culture and create a society that openly talks about suicide to allow people to speak up and seek help.
