Tim & Ian Harding 'Run the Streets of Dublin' fundraising for Alzheimer Society of Ireland
Welcome to our fundraising page—we hope you’re here to give generously! Together, we plan on running, and hopefully winning, the Dublin City Marathon in honour of our Dad, Michael. As many of you visiting this page already know, our Dad was a truly remarkable man. Although it does not define his life, he was sadly taken from us far too early as a result of early onset dementia. In his typical fashion, he was a fighter until the very end and is deeply missed by everyone who loved and respected him so dearly. We are honoured to represent and fundraise on behalf of the Alzheimer Society of Ireland. This organisation provides invaluable support and resources to individuals and families living with Alzheimer’s and dementia. They are dedicated to ensuring that no one faces dementia alone, championing the rights and needs of people living with the condition, as well as their carers. Our goal is now simple: to raise as much money as possible to give back. These funds are vital in helping the organisation continue its essential work. Between us, we’ve completed ten marathons (Ian -10, Tim - 0), and in October 2026, we’ll be toeing the line together at the Dublin City Marathon as serious contenders. While nothing is guaranteed on race day, we’re committed to doing everything possible to put ourselves in a position to win!! The best way to support us in our mission is to give generously to such a meaningful cause. .
