Sean Rogers fundraising for Children in Hospital Ireland
In 2026 myself, Liam Rogers and Mark Ryan are taking part in the Chicago Marathon in support of Children in Hospital Ireland. Our mission is to raise vital funds for a charity very close to our hearts. The experience of having a child in hospital is one in which we all wish we never had to face however the amazing volunteers of CIH dedicate their time to ensuring that children and families experience care, love, compassion and play during their hospital stay. Your support and donations will go above and beyond in helping CIH provide the best care to those that need it most.
About Children in Hospital Ireland
Children in Hospital Ireland supports children and their families in healthcare settings throughout Ireland through play, advocacy, and education. Since 1970, our mission has been to promote the wellbeing of children within the healthcare system. We work to provide information and support to parents and carers, and advocate on behalf of children and their families. In addition, we aim to make the hospital a happier place for children and young people by providing volunteer-led play and recreation services.
The work of Children in Hospital Ireland is firmly rooted in and inspired by the lived experience of children in hospital and their families, and the knowledge and insights of our volunteers and supporters.
