Steven Meighan fundraising for Brain Tumour Research in Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2026

Dear friends, As you might be aware, my wife Laura recently died as the result of a brain tumour. To raise funds to fight this horrible disease, I’m running the Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2026. My last marathon was in 2017 and I said I'd never do one again! Help me to say f**k you cancer and try to prevent other families from suffering! Your support, whether it’s a small donation, a share, or simply cheering me on, means more than words can say. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Kindest regards, Steven

About Brain Tumour Research

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this! We are the only national charity in the UK focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours through campaigning to increase the national investment in brain tumour research to £35 million per year, while fundraising to create a network of seven sustainable Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence across the UK.
