Stephen Haugh fundraising for Oesophageal Cancer Fund in Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2026
I am running the 2026 Dublin Marathon this October to raise funds for OCF (Oesophageal Cancer Fund), a charity that has a very close connection to my family. Over 25 years ago, my mum Audrey and her school friends helped establish the charity following the loss of their close friend, Lucilla Hyland, to oesophageal cancer. Since then, both of my parents have remained closely involved with OCF. My mum continues to volunteer for Lollipop Day each year, while my dad John helps to organise the packing and nationwide distribution of tens of thousands of lollipops for the charity's annual fundraiser. OCF has been part of our family for as long as I can remember, so I'm delighted to do my own small bit by taking on the 42.2km around Dublin this year. Any donation, big or small, would be hugely appreciated and will help support OCF's work in raising awareness, funding research and supporting those affected by oesophageal cancer. Thanks so much for your support!
