Rion & Dannys 26 miles fundraising for Oesophageal Cancer Fund in Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2026
We’re Ríon McKenna and Danny Collins, and we’re running the Dublin marathon to raise money & awareness for the Oesophageal Cancer Fund. Ríon is running in memory of her dad, Raymond McKenna, who sadly passed away in 2020 after a long battle with Oesophageal Cancer. Danny is running for a close friend who he recently lost to cancer. We’ve helped with OCF fundraising before, but this time we wanted to really push ourselves and step outside our comfort zones by taking on a marathon for a cause that means so much to us. Oesophageal cancer has one of the highest mortality rates in Ireland, which is why awareness, early detection, and support are so important. We’re doing this for the people we’ve lost, for those still fighting, and for every family affected. Any donation or share would mean so much to us. Thank you for supporting us and helping the OCF continue their amazing work.
