Niall Caffrey fundraising for OvaCare in Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2026
Two years ago, in April, I lost my mother after a brief battle with ovarian cancer. Her diagnosis caught us all off guard, she had shown no previous signs of illness that I was aware of before the previous September. That's why this year, I’m running the Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2026 — for something bigger than myself. To both raise awareness about ovarian cancer, and raise funds to help support other families that are similarly affected by ovarian cancer. Every mile I run is a reminder of why I’m doing this — to make a real difference for those who need it most. It’s not just about crossing a finish line; it’s about showing up, pushing through, and turning effort into impact. Your support — whether it’s a donation, a share, or simply cheering me on — means more than words can say. Together, we can take every step a little further. Every mile matters. Every gesture helps. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
