Ciara and I are running in support of @cancerfundforchildren.They do incredible work providing care, comfort, and support to children and young people affected by cancer, as well as their families. It’s a cause that deserves every bit of help it can get, and we’re so proud to be doing our small part for it. From both of us – thank you again for every donation, share, and kind word. At Cancer Fund for Children, we understand the devastating impact a cancer diagnosis and its treatment have on the whole family, and that beyond the essential medical care, there is a family life that needs to be rebuilt. Our aim is to empower, connect and strengthen families, so they feel equipped to deal with whatever cancer throws at them.

About Cork City Marathon 2025
Organised by Cork City Council, the marathon has three distances: the
Full Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K race. The routes weave through Cork
City’s scenic and vibrant streets and suburbs, past iconic landmarks and along
the bustling quays. The incredible support from Corkonians lining the streets,
paired with the camaraderie among participants, guarantees a memorable day for
all.
The Cork City Marathon is open to all, from elite athletes chasing
records to first-time runners tackling personal goals. It's more than a
race—it’s about community, resilience, and making a difference.
Building on the €200,000 raised for 58 charity partners in 2024, we aim
to double this target in the coming years. With our new tagline ‘Your Race,
Their Hope.’ We encourage participants to run for causes close to their hearts,
making every stride on June 1 count towards vital, life-changing work.
As a full member of AIMs the Cork marathon is IAAF certified.
