Milo Fulham fundraising for Irish Cancer Society in Irish Life Dublin Marathon 2025
In January 2025, one year after being diagnosed, I sadly lost my dad, Derek Fulham, to cancer. Throughout his battle, Dad remained incredibly brave. Even in the face of the unknown, he maintained an unwavering spirit. He was always a curious man, one who loved to learn, and this didn’t change during his treatment. He kept up-to-date with the latest studies and breakthroughs in cancer research, always hoping for new possibilities. While our family lost a wonderful man, I want to honour his memory by helping others. I am running the Dublin Marathon in October 2025 to raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society's cancer research, to support the development of better treatments and, ultimately, find a cure. The Irish Cancer Society funds the work of over 100 cancer researchers across in leading institutions and hospitals all across Ireland, however all funds used to support cancer research come from donations. Cancer is something that affects so many people, and every day of research brings us closer to breakthroughs that can save lives. Your support, whether through a donation or by sharing this campaign, will make a real difference in funding the research that is so vital for the future. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me honour my dad's legacy and supporting the incredible work of the Irish Cancer Society. Together, we can make a difference.
